American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at a STEMI center requiring ACLS certification and at least 2 years of cath lab experience.

• Work in the Cath Lab of a STEMI center hospital environment
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Call responsibilities 1-2 times per week
• Required to work 1 weekend per month
• Blocked scheduling will be considered
• Epic charting system experience preferred

• Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, ASD closures, cardiac implant closure devices, cardiac stent placement, left and right heart catheterization, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Experience with IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and rotablator atherectomy preferred
• Ability to scrub in for procedures is a significant advantage
• Experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab required, EP Lab experience preferred
• Prior travel nurse experience not required

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures in a fast-paced STEMI center setting
• Two professional references required for consideration
