Role Overview:
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Collaborates with other departments to coordinate patient care while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and deliver direct nursing care.
- Evaluate care provided by team members.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care activities.
- Maintain compliance with mission, values, and standards.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license, meeting state requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or others as required by the unit.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.
Proficiency in the nursing process, collaboration skills, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards.
