Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Technician plays a key role in ensuring MO SCI products meet established quality standards. This hands‑on role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and support of laboratory and quality system processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Reject and document non-conforming materials
  • Prepare, review, and maintain accurate quality documentation
  • Support laboratory operations, including maintaining supplies and equipment
  • Perform and document risk analyses as required
  • Maintain records, retention samples, and traceability systems
  • Assist with inventory tracking and material status reporting
  • Support training of new employees on quality procedures
  • Assist in implementation and maintenance of the Quality System
  • Collaborate with QA leadership to ensure product standards are met
  • Identify and help resolve quality‑related issues
Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
  • Experience in quality assurance, laboratory, or manufacturing environments
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to work in a hands‑on laboratory and production environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Willingness to learn and develop additional skills as needed
Schedule & Work Environment
  • Full-time, on-site
  • Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Located in Rolla, Missouri
