ASSISTANT MANAGER

Responsibilities
  • Staffing your store, managing costs, and developing team members to support daily operations
  • Deliver product by car and then to the door of customers
  • Deliver flyers and/or door hangers
  • Take customer orders over the phone and in person; process orders accurately
  • Receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork
  • Prepare product and clean equipment and facility daily
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and work areas
  • Operate all equipment as required
  • Navigate delivery areas using maps to locate addresses within designated routes
  • Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
  • Submit to a background check and drug test
  • Participate in orientation and on-the-job training
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Minimum Age: 18+ years
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, customer service oriented
  • Willingness to learn and excel
  • Valid driver's license with a 2-year good driving record
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Proof of liability insurance
  • Ability to operate all equipment and perform tasks including, but not limited to stocking, receiving orders, inventory, and basic math for making correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination to perform precise movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Training & Additional Information
  • Training - Orientation and on-the-job training provided
  • Additional Information: SENSING — talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
  • TEMPERAMENTS — ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, make judgments and decisions
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS include standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladder, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling loads, and other tasks as described
