Job Description
ASSISTANT MANAGER
If you are adaptable, self‑motivated, and have a passion for customer service, you can learn and sharpen business skills as a Manager for Domino’s Pizza by staffing your store, managing costs, and developing your team members in a fun and energetic environment.
Responsibilities- Staff the store and manage staffing levels.
- Control costs and maintain profitability.
- Develop and mentor team members.
- Operate all store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product according to company standards.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
- Provide written and verbal instructions to staff.
- Communicate with customers and co‑workers in person and over the phone.
- Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Deliver product by car and to customers’ door.
- Deliver flyers and/or door hangers.
- Navigate delivery area using maps and locate addresses.
- Submit to background check and drug test.
- Minimum age 18+ years old.
- Positive attitude, self‑motivated, customer‑service oriented.
- Willingness to learn and excel.
- Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of good driving record.
- Reliable vehicle and proof of liability insurance.
- Ability to operate all equipment.
- Accurate basic arithmetic skills.
- Verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements with speed.
- Proficiency using computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders.
- Ability to make correct monetary change on the spot.
- Standing – Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
- Walking – For short distances and durations on surfaces such as ceramic tile, bricks, and linoleum; work surfaces 36–48 inches high.
- Sitting – Paperwork is normally completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting – Bulk product deliveries are unloaded twice a week or more; items can weigh up to 50 pounds and be up to 3' x 1.5'.
- Carrying – Small items such as large cans (3 lb 7 oz) and pizza sauce (30 lb) are carried from workstation to storage shelves; trays of dough (3 at a time, ~12 lb each) are carried over short distances.
- Pushing and Pulling – Trays may be moved on dollies, requiring a force of up to 7.5 pounds each; some trays may also be pulled.
- Climbing – Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder to change prices, wash walls, or perform maintenance.
Orientation and training will be provided on the job.
Additional Information Sensing- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress.
- Meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
