The Partnership Business Development function serves as a revenue engine, building our pipeline, advancing cross-selling and accelerating our win rate.
Role Overview:
The Partnership Business Development Specialist plays a key role in supporting the growth and execution of Gallagher’s corporate sports and entertainment partnerships. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a passion for partnership strategy and supporting sales execution. You’ll contribute to business development efforts by assisting sales pipeline tracking, supporting monthly check-ins with sales teams, and collaborating across internal and external teams to help teams reach revenue and retention goals.
This is a field-facing role where building strong interpersonal relationships with Gallagher producers, clients and prospects, as well as partners’ employees is the foundation for success.
- Support the execution and tracking of partnership sales initiatives, including monitoring and reporting on pipeline activities.
- Assist with the coordination of business development events and post-event sales reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, community engagement) and external partners to ensure alignment with sales and retention goals.
- Maintain Gallagher’s database of business development best practices.
- Coordinate and document key monthly sales check-ins, quarterly national industry check-ins, and relevant business development event meetings.
- Serve as a liaison with sales teams to ensure coordination and thoughtful responses for new partner evaluations and proposals.
Required:
- Associate's degree and 1 year related experience required.
Highly Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with Power
BI and Salesforce - Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, )
- Understanding of partnership principles and brand strategy
- Knowledge of sports and entertainment industry dynamics
- Some travel may be required to support business development events.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position.
