Position Overview
BEARConstructionisseekinga Renewable Energy Project Managertoleadsolarprojectsfrompreconstructionthroughcompletion .Theidealcandidateishighlyorganized,forward-thinking,andcommittedtosafety,financial performance,andclientsatisfaction.
Responsibilities- Managerenewableenergyprojectsthroughoutallstagesofdevelopmentandconstruction
- Partner with Preconstructionteamsforbidding,subcontractorscopedevelopment,contract negotiation,andaward
- Coordinateallstakeholders,including owners,developers,utility companies,subcontractors,andlocalauthorities
- Monitorconstructionquality,ensuringcompliancewithplans,specifications,QA/QC,codes,andbestpractices
- Developandmanageprojectbudgets;track costs,identifysavingsopportunities,andprovideregularprojectreports
- Overseepayapplicationsandchangeordersinaccordancewithcontractterms
- Leadprojectmeetings,reportprogresstoseniormanagement,andpresentprojectupdatestoclients
- Manageprojectcloseoutwithowners,subcontractors,and stakeholders
- Fostercontinuousimprovement,implementinglessonslearnedandinnovativesolutions
- Ensuresafetyisthetoppriorityonalljobsites
- Bachelor’sdegreein
Electrical
Engineering,Construction Management,orequivalentexperience - Experienceinsolar,renewable energy,orlarge-scaleconstructionprojectmanagement
- Experiencemanagingmultipleprojectteamsandself-perform work
- ProficiencywithMSOffice,scheduling,andconstructionsoftware(e.g.,Procore,Bluebeam,AutoCAD,SharePoint)
- Strongfinancialacumenwithexperiencemanagingbudgetsandcostcontrol
- Excellent communication,leadership,negotiation,and problem-solving skills
- Willingnesstotravelwithinthe Midwesttosupportprojectsandclientmeetings
