Renewable Energy Senior Project Manager

The
Senior Project Manager (SPM)-Corporate Renewable Energy isresponsiblefortheoverallmanagement(plans,budgets,schedules,safety,people,andprofit) of
multiple projects,multi-phasedprojects,orlargecomplexprojects
,deliveringworkontimeandwithincompanyprofitguidelines.

ASenior Project Managerhasdemonstratedtheabilitytosuccessfullymanagecomplexprojectsand /orincreasedprojectvolumefrompreconstructionthroughcloseout.

TheSPMcreatesandmaintainsdetailedconstructionschedules,project documents,and budgets,andimplementsteamstrategiesalignedwithcompanygoals.

SeniorPMsarealsoexpectedtomanageandmentorprojectteammembers(includingProjectCoordinators,Project Engineers,Assistant Project Managers ,and/orProjectManagersasassigned).

ThispositionistailoredtoBEAR’s
renewableenergyworkstream
,requiringstrongportfoliothinkingandconsistentexecutionacrossmultipleconcurrentprojects.

TheSPMwill:

• Leadrenewableenergyprojectswithastrongfocuson
  profitability,schedule performance,andstakeholdercommunication
  ,whilecoordinatingcloselywiththe
  
  Superintendent/field leadership.
• Supportrenewableenergygrowthbybuildingandmaintainingrelationshipswith
  clients,subcontractors,vendors,andindustrypartners
  ,andbyhelpingexpandthevendornetworkforamorecompetitiverenewableenergydeliverymodel.

• Develop,drive,andimplementprojectgoalsastheprojectlead.
• Ensurethereisadetailedplanforhowtoachieveeachstageoftheproject.
• Createandmaintainprojectschedules,including3-weeklook-aheads
  .
• Coordinateconstructionfieldstaffwiththeproject Superintendent/fieldmanager.
• Ensureprojectsareclosedoutonatimelybasis.

• EnsureprojectsmeetfinancialtargetsandaligntoBEAR’sprofitexpectations.
• Manageallprojectfinancialsandensureprofitabilityforassignedprojects.
• Managechangeeventsandprocessprimeandsubcontractorcontractchangeorders.
• Assistwithtimelycompletionofaccounting-related duties(invoicing,collections,APinvoiceapprovals,contractissuance,reporting).
• Prepareandassistwithprojectestimatingasneeded.

• Supportthepreconstructionprocess.
• Createscopeofworkassignmentsforsubcontractorsandvendors.
• Negotiatesubcontractswithexternalvendorstoreachprofitableagreements.
• Determineneededresources(workforce,equipment,and materials) withattentiontobudgetarylimitations.
• Worktofindnewvendorsandsuppliersforexpandingmarketstocreateamorecompetitiveproject.

• Workwithengineeringandpreconstructiontoobtainpermitsandlicensesfromappropriateauthorities.
• Monitorcompliancetoapplicablecodes,QA/QCpolicies,andperformancestandards.
• Ensureadherencetoallquality,health,andsafetystandardsandreportissuesinatimelybasis.
• Prepare,review,andsubmitinternalandexternaljobstatusreporting;evaluateprogressandpreparedetailedreports(includingprofitstatus).
• Ensurereportingiscompletedtimelyandaccuratelyusingcompanysanctionedsoftware.

• Developandmaintainworkingrelationshipswithclients,subcontractors,vendors,andotheragenciesoftheprojectteam.
• Collaboratewithengineers,architects,consultants,estimators,andotherpartnerstodetermineprojectspecifications.
• Continuetobuildandmaintainrelationshipswithclientsanddesignteamstosupportastableandgrowingbacklog.
• Developworkingrelationshipswithindustrypartnersbycontactingnewandexistingcustomerstodiscussneedsandnurturerelationshipsforfutureprojects.

• Manageandmentorprojectteammembers;provideoversightandtrainingforassigned
