- Generate test plans, test procedures, and test automation for integration test activities (system integration, design verification tests, qualification tests, etc.) in System Integration Labs (SILs) or offsite locations.
- Execute integration test activities, including generating test reports.
- Apply Systems Engineering process across a product’s lifecycle and contribute to system operations.
- Specialize in one or more of our specialties on site: EO/IR/RF systems, sensors/antennas, transmitters/receivers, optics, detection and tracking.
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical degree with 12+ years of related experience, MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field with 10+ years related experience, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field with 8+ years related experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and Systems Thinking mindset.
- Excellent decision making and communication (written and oral) skills.
- Experience leading others to develop plans and execute tasks.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment.
- Ability and willingness to work independently with little oversight or direction.
- Advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret Clearance with additional customer‑specified clearance prior to start.
- Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluation.
- Experience performing Design Verification Tests, Environmental Qualification Testing, and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing.
- Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices.
- Working knowledge of EOIR systems, sensors, optics.
- Experience in development and management of cost accounts and schedules as related to Systems Engineering and/or Integration & Test tasking.
- Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) concepts and tools (Cameo).
- Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
Primary Level Salary Range: $ – $. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Northrop Grumman also provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
