Data Science​/AI Prompt Engineer - Temp

Overview

We are seeking a Data Science/ AI Prompt Engineer - Temp to Hire to join Gallagher Benefit Services. This role supports the Data Analytics team to help us make better business decisions based on data. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of statistics, AI/ML algorithms, mathematics, and data science programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python).

• Perform statistical analyses and exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends that can improve products and services.
• Run custom SQL queries; extract, cleanse, and transform data into insights that drive business value.
• Analyze data and provide robust insights, analysis, and analytical reporting to inform key business areas on trends and business insights.
• Work as an individual contributor to interpret results and maintain strong stakeholder relationships; be proactive in learning new skills per business requirements.
• Utilize data visualization and data modeling techniques to convey findings and support decision making.
• Support Agile delivery processes, including user story grooming, sprint planning, development, and user acceptance where applicable.
• Ensure data privacy and security best practices in handling data.
• Stay up to date with the latest tools and trends in data science and AI.

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Technical Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or engineering.
• Working knowledge of statistics, AI/ML techniques, and data science programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python).
• Strong proficiency in Python and R; experience with cloud platforms (MS Azure ML Studio, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with data science toolkits (R, Num Py, Mat Lab) and No
  
  SQL data stores for unstructured data.
• Strong SQL and Excel skills; ability to design, train, and implement machine learning models.
• Excellent data storytelling and communication skills; ability to convey insights to non-technical audiences.
• Analytical thinking, business intuition, and collaborative interpersonal skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools (MS Power BI preferred).

The base pay range is $66,000.00/yr - $/yr. The actual compensation will be based on skills and experience. This is a Temp-To-Hire, W-2 position and fully remote within the U.S.
