• Assist the Underwriter/Broker Senior in servicing and operational management of accounts.
• Underwrite, service and manage assigned accounts, achieving production and service goals.
• Underwrite individual insurance applications for property and casualty, using guidelines for standard and substandard issuance.
• Determine whether to accept, modify or decline a risk through evaluation of property value, location, usage, safety features and other pertinent information.
• Maintain frequent contact with field agents to gather data and defend underwriting decisions.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
• Preferred:
  Demonstrated originality and ingenuity in broad assignments; strong analytic and communication skills.
