Gallagher has an industry‑leading internship and early career program. Our intern program has over 60 years of history and tremendous leadership involvement. Reporting to the Early Talent Director, the Early Talent Operations Manager will focus on driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation across our programs while providing strategic leadership and operational oversight.
How You’ll Make An Impact- Lead operations for Early Talent Programs, to drive efficiency, scalability, and management of direct and offshore team members.
- Design and implement a listening strategy and survey framework to gather insights, improve program effectiveness and measure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Lead project management for strategic initiatives and drive change management to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
- Develop and activate early career dashboards in partnership with Early Talent leads, People Analytics, and Power BI teams to provide real‑time metrics for HR and business leaders and support workforce planning.
- Manage and optimize the shared services mode, including oversight of offshore team members, to improve processes and resource allocation.
- Build an integrated communications & internal promotion strategy to promote early talent impact and enhance visibility through email, SharePoint and other channels.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements, operational efficiencies, and maximize technology utilization across initiatives such as streamlining participant onboarding, improving recruitment workflows and enhancing program delivery and experience.
- Collaborate with Early Talent workstream leaders and cross‑functional teams to ensure process alignment and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor program outcomes, track metrics, and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree; 6‑7 years experience leading new/early talent development programs or related structured development programming.
- Ability to network inside and outside of Gallagher to establish relationships in support of the goals of the position.
- Ability to develop clear and concise written plans that present a compelling vision for the evolution of the program in line with the strategy.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills utilizing data and structured methodologies.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills necessary.
- Able to travel up to 25% within the US.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in operations management, project management or a similar role.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills with a focus on driving efficiency and scalability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage direct reports, and foster collaboration across diverse groups.
- Experience in process improvement, workflow optimization and implementing shared services models is desirable.
- Passion for early career talent development.
