We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC programming, machining, and precision measurement.
TasksThis role involves operating CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality components while adhering to strict specifications and tolerances. The CNC Machinist will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our production processes.
ResponsibilitiesWe are growing and we're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our 1st shift team (Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.3:30 p.m.) in our custom job shop. If you thrive on variety, enjoy tackling complex challenges, and take pride in precision work, this is the role for you.
We specialize in one-of-a-kind and small-run projects for world-class customers, including top research labs and technology-driven industries. From prototype development to final assembly, our machinists are a key part of turning ambitious ideas into reality.
Set-up, program (Fusion 360), and operate CNC equipment, including Hurco 5-axis, Hurco 3 & 4-axis, Hurco TMM
10, G&L, Haas, and more.
- Occasionally work with manual mills and lathes Bullard VTL experience is a plus
- Machine high-precision parts to tight tolerances following blueprints, travelers, and GD&T requirements
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, adjusting as needed
- Troubleshoot machining challenges and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Collaborate with engineering, welding, and assembly teams, especially during prototype builds
- Train and support less experienced machinists as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or degree preferred
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a job shop environment
- Strong CAM programming experience (5+ years, Fusion 360 preferred)
- Manual machining skills;
Bullard VTL experience a plus - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T
- Skilled with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and a solid work ethic
- Able to stand, bend, and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. throughout a shift
- Clear verbal and written communication in English
