Inside Sales Coordinator

Apply for the Inside Sales Coordinator role at PERMA-PIPE in Rolling Meadows, IL. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will prepare material and labor take-offs and convert them into accurate project estimates to support External Sales Representatives. You will review and analyze contract drawings, plans, and specifications received by the Inside Sales team and apply your knowledge of company services, products, pricing, and supplies to develop compliant, competitive proposals that meet project requirements.

• Gather necessary project information (internal and external) for preparation of estimates
• Review design options / project specifications and perform take‑offs
• Read blueprints and specifications to create estimates for projects
• Generate project estimates, develop proposals, and obtain appropriate internal approvals for proposals
• Provide target margin expectations in line with company policies
• Develop technical and application knowledge on all company product lines
• Respond to inbound calls and e‑mail traffic – no cold calling
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned or required by the position

• Associates degree or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school
• Previous Inside Sales or Estimating experience preferred but not required

• Results‑driven and self‑motivated
• Comfortable conducting business over the phone
• Articulate, well‑spoken, and a strong communicator
• Good math skills and the ability to learn technical product applications
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Works independently within a team
• Basic mechanical blueprint reading skills
• Ability to learn/apply basic engineering concepts
