• Graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science or another relevant university field.
• Significant experience in hardware development, specifically in mechanical engineering.

• Strong technical background in mathematics, science and computer science, with knowledge of mechanical laws, norms and standards.
• Proficiency in mechanical technology and related tools:

• CAD model, drawings, bill of materials, data management.

• Experience with Ansys Mechanical

  , MSC Nastran for structural analysis (static, modal, shocks, vibrations), test correlation, design optimisation and strength analysis.

• Shocks and vibration tests, qualification procedures.

• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills; curiosity and determination.
• Multitasking ability to handle several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Perform a subset of all hardware engineering activities applicable to Mechanical Engineering.
• Analyse mechanical needs using advanced studies, simulations, mock‑ups, prototypes.
• Describe the mechanical functions, requirements and development plan.
• Elaborate the data package for production transfer.
• Work collaboratively with production and procurement for cost‑effective, manufacturable solutions.
• Plan, monitor and report on mechanical activities to track technical progress.
• Justify technical, technological and methodological choices in line with the approved mechanical architecture and design.
• Monitor compliance of designs against target costs and lead time.
