Experienced Automotive Technician – Main Shop Experience Required
Courtesy Ford of Rome, GA is family owned and a great place to have a rewarding career! Our high-volume Service Dept. is growing and seeking an experienced Main Shop Technician
to diagnose automotive problems and perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. Automotive main shop technician experience is required.

- Diagnose automotive problems and perform maintenance and repairs on Ford vehicles and other makes/models.
- Diagnose and repair automotive mechanical and electrical issues using professional diagnostic equipment.
- Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, HVAC, and other major repairs.
- Accurately document all diagnostic findings, repairs, parts, and labor.
- Follow manufacturer specifications, dealership procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and fellow technicians regarding vehicle condition and repair needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology, repair procedures, and training.
- Deliver high-quality work while maintaining productivity and efficiency.
- Solid knowledge of modern automotive systems and repair procedures.
- Able to accurately diagnose automotive problems and complete repairs efficiently.
- Experience using automotive diagnostic tools and shop equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Able to work independently and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Dependable, professional, and motivated work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Ford or OEM dealership experience is a plus.
- ASE certifications are a plus.
