Responsibilities- Maintains and manages all incoming communications by answering calls professionally, forwarding them appropriately, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
- Coordinates after‑hours operations by contacting key personnel as needed and maintaining accurate on‑call schedules and staff contact information.
- Monitors, responds to, and communicates hospital emergency codes, disaster alerts, and alarm systems in accordance with established procedures.
- Executes overhead announcements accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of proficiency to support hospital operations and safety.
- Maintains detailed operational call logs and communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure timely resolution of requests and issues.
- Basic understanding of numerous computer systems. [Required]
- Must be proficient in the English language. [Required]
- Ability to communicate effectively. [Required]
- Customer service skills required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Ability to work with attention to detail in reading, writing, and computer tasks required.
- Organizational and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to answer calls promptly, courteously, and accurately required.
- Knowledge of basic insurance concepts preferred.
- Bi‑lingual abilities preferred.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions required.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays required.
- Ability and willingness to adapt to change required.
- Clear and precise speaking abilities required.
