Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Sports Information & Promotions, the successful candidate will assist the Director in maintaining the visibility and support of Viking Athletics. The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to a liberal arts education, Division III athletics, and an appreciation for NCAA and institutional culture. The candidate should possess good written & verbal communication skills, strong computer skills, and strong interpersonal and management abilities.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Game Day Management, Statistics, and Data Management
- Sport Assignment Liaison
- Digital Media, Social Media, and Content Strategy
- Writing and Editorial Content
- Website Management
- Graphic Design and Visual Content
- Student Staff Supervision & Training
Salary: $40,000 annually for a 12-month appointment, plus full benefits. Annual $1,500 stipend for professional development.
RequirementsBachelor's degree required;
Master's degree preferred. Previous athletic experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
