We are looking for a qualified Spanish teacher to join Rome High School for the  school year. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering instruction in a standards‑based classroom utilizing best practices, implementing the Common Core Curriculum, maintaining excellent classroom management, and using technology for both instruction and administrative applications.

The candidate must hold or be eligible for the appropriate Georgia foreign language or Spanish teaching certificate for grades 6‑12.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Eligibility for Georgia foreign language or Spanish teaching certificate (grades 6-12).
• Knowledge of standards‑based instruction and Common Core.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in educational technology.
• Positive, cooperative, and collaborative demeanor.

Pay Type: Salaried‑Exempt – Certified Salary Schedule;
Range: $43,000 to $70,000 per year

Reports To: Principal

Retirement: TRS;
Contract Work Year: 190 Days

Evaluation Instrument: TKES
