We are seeking a PE Teacher to lead physical education classes and support athletic programs, ensuring a positive learning environment for students.

• Distribute athletic information as needed to include tryouts, practice schedules and cancellations, ticket sales, varsity coach visits, etc.
• Assists with athletic physicals: communicate dates, assist with paperwork distribution and collection, and assist with an actual trip to take athletes for physicals.
• Assists middle‑school athletes: assist with the organization of participating students, afternoon transportation supervision, and communication with coaches on attendance.
• Communicates with coaches and system directors on potential athletes.
• Collaborates with coaches and system directors to develop programs and activities to develop athletic programs within RCS.
• Develop intramural athletic opportunities at the elementary level.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.

• Bachelor degree with Certification/License
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate or meet eligibility requirements for a Georgia Induction Certificate
• Acceptable criminal background check
• Ability to perform routine physical activities required for job responsibilities
• Professional written and oral communication skills
