Controller - International Operations (Multi‑Location)

We're partnering with a growing, well‑run organization to identify a trusted, self‑directed Controller who enjoys owning the accounting function, partnering with leadership, and bringing structure to complexity. What You'll Own

This is a true Controller seat with end‑to‑end responsibility:

+ Lead month‑end close, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency

+ Prepare and review financial statements for multiple entities

+ Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

+ Build and maintain KPI and management reporting used by leadership

+ Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations

+ Support foreign currency activity and FX considerations

+ Ensure compliance and proper application of international accounting standards

+ Act as the primary point of contact for audit requests and tax‑related questions, coordinating with external advisors

+ Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting as the business scales

+ Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑caliber accounting team

Requirements

What They're Looking For

+ 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior Controller experience

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)

+

Experience with multi‑entity and international accounting environments

+ Manufacturing experience strongly preferred

+ Comfortable being the "go‑to" person for audits, tax questions, and complex accounting matters

+ Self‑directed, confident communicator who brings solutions-not excuses

+ Leader who values teamwork and continuous improvement
