Grow with us as a Payroll Clerk at our Rome, GA plant—where we are committed to your success. In this role, you will support the daily operations of plant finance by partnering closely with the Plant Controller to ensure accurate payroll processing, production reporting, and financial data integrity that supports business performance.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and fast-paced plant environment, gaining hands‑on experience with core finance processes while building your technical expertise and professional network. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing- Payroll Processing – Review and process payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Production Reporting – Enter production data, generate variance reports, and analyze discrepancies to support operational insights.
- GR/IR Reconciliation – Perform GR/IR activities and partner with plant personnel and vendors to resolve differences between received and invoiced amounts.
- Financial Reporting – Prepare basic financial analyses and reports to support plant leadership decision‑making.
- Issue Resolution – Respond to ad‑hoc questions, support investigations, and assist with special projects as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience in payroll, finance, or accounting
- Experience processing payroll for hourly and/or salaried employees
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookup functions (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Experience analyzing data and identifying variances or discrepancies
- Experience using ERP or payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Kronos)
The annual salary range is $51,400 - $67,410, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
