The Role You’ll ContributeThe Cardiovascular Invasive Laboratory Specialist (CILS) perform a wide range of technical skills, which are utilized during a variety of Cardiovascular, Non-ablation Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. CILS is proficient in two out of the three standard roles of scrub, circulate and monitor consistent with the policies, procedures and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration.
TheValue You’ll Bring To The Team
- Performs effectively in two of the three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in a therapeutic cardiac laboratory team based on the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals Scope of Practice. Takes call as rotated/assigned and responds (in hospital) per policy.
- Proficiently performs diagnostic coronary procedures, diagnostic electrophysiology procedures, interventional radiology procedures, peripheral diagnostic and/or interventional procedures.
- Learns and upgrades skills. Utilizes knowledge base to assist with orientation, training, and education of new personnel. Provides training for procedures within their competency.
- May perform waived and/or non-waived Point of Care Testing.

- in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Radiologic Technology or Respiratory Therapy
- 2+ years experience [Required]
- Cardiovascular Lab experience [Preferred]
- Electrophysiology Lab experience [Preferred]
- Interventional Radiology Lab experience [Preferred]
- Peripheral Lab experience [Preferred]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Required] OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) [Required]
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
Physical Requirements -
Pay Range$15.00 - $130.00
