Mobile CT Technologist – SummaryJoin our mobile imaging team to perform Low Dose CT Lung Screenings and Cardiac Calcium Scoring exams aboard a state‑of‑the‑art mobile CT unit. This role brings lifesaving screening services directly to underserved communities, employer sites, and special events. Responsibilities include performing high‑quality CT exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort, operating and driving the mobile CT coach, and representing the organization with professionalism and compassion.
Schedule4×10‑hour daytime shifts, with rare weekend events and occasional modified hours for locations with 3rd‑shift workers. No holidays and no call.
RequirementsARRT (R) and CT (or eligibility), state licensure, BLS certification, and willingness to obtain a CDL. Candidates must be dependable, flexible, and comfortable working independently. Mobile imaging experience is a plus but not required.

Major Responsibilities- Competently operates CT equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures. Procedures include basic imaging processing, body, head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, contrast, orthopedic and extremity.
- Obtains medical history from patients and compares requisitions to physicians' orders to ensure exam accuracy.
- Positions patient and selects proper scanning factors, adjusts factors to attain the appropriate images, and provides radiation protection and safety in accordance with regulatory agencies.
- Prepares and administers contrast media under the direction of the Radiologist, and assists in the proper scanning techniques. Provides measurements and additional slices for accurate interpretation with direction from the Radiologist.
- Post‑processes images as directed and accurately identifies and labels images identifying patient name, medical record unit (MRU) number, and location or position of scan on all images.
- Prepares and maintains records in accordance with various regulatory agencies and enters patient and study information into the radiology information system, and documents billing codes of procedures performed to ensure accurate patient charges.
- Identifies equipment performance issues and performs equipment quality assurance tests and calibration procedures. Reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate staff and evaluates new products and equipment.
- Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age‑specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.

- Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
- Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Computed Tomography (CT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) needs to be obtained within 18 months.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months.
- Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Radiologic Technology.
