Overview
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, High Acuity Progressive Care Unit. Job code: 34435. Full‑time, 36 hours per week on a 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. shift. Pay range: $20.80 – $31.20 per hour.
ResponsibilitiesThe CNA performs duties necessary to provide the best in patient care, but not to the extent requiring the service and judgment of a registered or licensed nurse. The CNA provides and maintains a clean, safe and quiet environment in support of patient comfort and contentment, promotes family‑centered care, and provides supportive care to patients in all units with adequate supervision and cross training.
The CNA participates in performance improvement activities and works cooperatively with medical staff and other hospital staff to support the care of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Completed course of instruction from an acceptable training school or equivalent training that prepares the employee to meet the designated requirements.
- One year of experience preferred.
- Current CNA certification in the applicable state.
- BCLS certified.
