Position: Registered Nurse- High Acuity PCU- WEO Night shift

Job Overview

34435 Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center – High Acuity Progressive Care Unit (HAU)

Full time, 36 hours per week.

Schedule:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights 7 p.m.–7 a.m.

Pay range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour.

The HAU is a newly launched 11‑bed unit (early 2026) that provides high acuity, medically complex care with a 1:3 nurse‑to‑patient ratio. The role offers an opportunity to shape unit culture and deliver excellent patient care in a fast‑paced, clinically challenging setting.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care throughout the nursing process, ensuring safe, therapeutic care in line with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Apply evidence‑based practice and clinical decision making, communicating compassionately and leading efforts to create the safest patient environment while delivering a superior patient experience.
Location

Atrium Health Floyd is a leading medical provider in northwest Georgia and northeast Alabama, part of the third‑largest nonprofit health system in the United States. The HAU will be located at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center.
