Job Overview
Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center – Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Part‑time, Medical/Surgical ICU. The position is located in Floyd Medical Center, part of Atrium Health.
Schedule DetailsNight shift 1800‑0600. Must work 3 shifts within each 6‑week period, including at least one weekend shift. Must work at least one major and one minor holiday each calendar year.
ResponsibilitiesThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs duties necessary to provide the best in patient care. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and quiet environment to support patient comfort, promoting family‑centered care, and providing supportive care across all units with adequate supervision. The CNA also participates in performance improvement activities, collaborates with medical staff and other hospital staff, and supports the care of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements- Education – High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Completion of an accepted CNA training program.
- Experience – One year of experience preferred.
- ensure/Certification – Current CNA certification in the pertinent state. BCLS certified.
Pay Range: $20.80 – $31.20 per hour. Additional premium pay for shift, on‑call, and other applicable categories. Incentive pay available for select positions. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.
