Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team in Rome, GA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Valid Respiratory Therapist certification and licensure as required by the state of Georgia.
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
