Guest Room Attendant

Overview

Scope of Position:The Guest Room Attend antis able to work independently and without direct supervision.

The Guest Room Attendant ensures the highest quality guest experience by cleaning and preparing the buildings of the Win Shape Foundation including guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other locations on the mountain campus.

Reports to:Team Leader, Housekeeping and Laundry

• Cleans guest rooms, performsstayovers,turnovers, and checkouts as assigned within standard guidelines for cleaning

• Cleans public areas and officesas assigned within standard guidelines for cleaning

• Reports work orders via Facilities work order system

• Performs quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits

• Inspects storage rooms androomattendant carts for neatness, cleanliness, adequate supplies, and good repair

• Inspects public areas and guest rooms and trainsnew housekeepers

• Performs seasonal deep cleaning of facilities as needed

• Performs other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Leadership

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• 0to 3 yearsprevioushousekeeping experience

• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record

• Ability tostand, bend, stretch, climb stairs, and do much walking

• Abilitytolift upto 25 pounds

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Self-discipline and attention to detail

• Basic understanding of computer skills and/or knowledge of a property management system or housekeeping system

• Commitment to being present at appropriate timesto work - all shifts, all days
