Overview
Labor Finders is seeking skilled Fabricator/Welders to join a local team. The ideal candidate will have background in welding and fabrication, able to work with various materials and adhere to industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and ability to read blueprints effectively.
Responsibilities- Set up, use and maintain Lincoln and Miller welders
- Maintain PPEs
- Interpret project blueprints
- Read and take measurements
- Experience in MIG, TIG, Aluminum, and ARC welding
- Repair minor weld defects with angle and pencil grinders
- Repair leaking weld defects with stick welding method
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Comply with OSHA standards
- Follow orders of Foreman and Shop Supervisor
- Ability to operate handheld machinery
- Attention to detail
- Timeliness and punctuality
- General understanding of welding procedures
- Ability to use handheld power tools and welders for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift objects over 40 pounds
- Ability to work in tight spaces
- Ability to work in maintained high temperatures
Must pass a multiple skill weld test.
