Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

We are currently hiring a Forklift Operator for the 2nd Shift. The wage starts at $18.00/HR and is based on experience. Hours are 5:00 pm – 3:30 am Monday through Thursday, with opportunities for overtime pay.

The Forklift Operator ensures the safe and efficient movement and storage of products and materials during day‑to‑day production in accordance with company operations strategies, maximizing profits through improved efficiencies and cost savings. The operator works with other team members to create and maintain a safe, organized working environment that meets or exceeds facility standards and customer expectations.

• Perform daily safety inspection of forklift before operating
• Follow safety and precautionary measures when operating machinery
• Support essential logistics operations through storage and transportation
• Notify technicians when forklifts require service
• Perform work under direct supervision with a basic understanding of equipment
• Handle basic issues and refer more complex matters to higher‑level staff
• Operate hand‑held scanner and stretch‑wrap machine
• Comply with all company safety guidelines and procedures
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Perform other duties assigned by manager/supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Good communication skills (listening, verbal, and written)
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts using basic mathematics
• Must have or be able to obtain a forklift operator license (two years of forklift experience preferred)
• Willingness and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
• Willingness to submit to background check, employment verification, and drug screening
