DescriptionWe are seeking a practice-based Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct home‑care nursing services for Inspiritus clients with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). The Home Care Nurse will conduct monthly in‑person comprehensive assessments, collaborate with the clinical team, and provide education and training to clients and Host Home Providers. The position reports to the Nursing Services Coordinator and requires prior approval before any assignment.

Monthly assessments – flexible schedule.
Hourly rate: $38 – meetings and training.
Pay per visit: $70 / $80.
Responsibilities• Conduct comprehensive in‑person assessments of clients’ physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.
• Provide person‑centered education and training to individuals and Host Home Providers.
• Document in the Electronic Health Record system, if directed.
• Travel to clients’ homes and/or day programs to conduct assessments.
• Valid and current RN license (or higher clinical license).
• Valid and current Georgia driver’s license in good standing with current auto insurance.
• Minimum of 2 years experience; 3–5 years working with individuals with I/DD preferred.
• Comprehensive nursing assessment experience, problem identification, and care plan development.
• Screening for developmental issues, depression, and other psychological conditions.
• Ability to communicate respectfully and culturally competently.
• Current or able to obtain BLS/First Aid certification.
• Current or able to obtain CPI certification.
• Knowledge of DBHDD rules and regulations (preferred).
• Knowledge of person‑centered planning and thinking (preferred).
Regularly required to talk and hear; stand, walk, sit; use fingers; lift/move up to 10 pounds; operate personal vehicle; close vision required; ability to adjust focus.
