Position Overview
TNAA Total Med RN is hiring a travel nurse RN for an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) assignment in Rome, GA.
Start Date:
June 29, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts).
Employment type:
Travel.
- Evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU setting.
- Document and implement physician‑directed care plans.
- Provide education and support to patient families.
- Deliver basic bedside care.
- Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
- Order and evaluate diagnostic tests and interpret reports.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; record electronic displays.
- Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
- Communicate patients’ conditions to family members.
- Registered Nurse licensed in the appropriate state.
- 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI (additional certifications may be required before assignment). - Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods.
- Capable of lifting 20 pounds and, when necessary, patients requiring lifts up to 50 pounds.
