Registered Nurse (RN) – Neurosurgery Unit

The Neurosurgery unit is a 23-bed Progressive Care Unit specialized in neurological care, recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and holding Advanced Spine Care Certification. It treats stroke patients, elective spine surgeries, seizure disorders, and other neurological conditions including Myasthenia Gravis, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Huntington’s Disease, and dementia.
Our team delivers evidence-based, patient‑centered care with advanced monitoring technologies.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)- ACLS
- Telemetry experience
- Critical drips such as Cardizem, Cardene, Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin
- NIHSS
- Neuro patient care experience
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the RN practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Apply evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
