Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Heyman Hospice Care

Location:

Travel throughout the Rome, GA service area and surrounding counties, Floyd, Chattooga, Bartow and Polk (Mileage reimbursed at the current IRS standard rate)

Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8a-5p, no weekends or holidays. Hours may occasionally extend later based on patient needs and visit schedules. Travel throughout the Rome, GA service area to provide compassionate care to patients in their homes and facility settings.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide direct patient care support under the supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Assist with daily activities and ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
  • Support a family-centered approach to patient care
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
  • Assist in meeting the needs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of an accredited CNA training program (or equivalent)
  • Active CNA certification in the state of Georgia
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of CNA experience
