Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality team and ensure our products consistently meet both Suhner and customer expectations. In this role, you will balance hands‑on technical work with leadership, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration.

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will:

• Ensure customer deliverables meet all internal and customer quality standards
• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance Department, including staff, equipment, documentation, and records
• Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Prepare and present quality‑related reports, charts, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Represent Quality Assurance in internal meetings, customer discussions, and audits
• Lead problem‑solving and root cause analysis efforts, including corrective actions and 8D reports
• Oversee and prepare Pre‑Production Approval Process (PPAP) documentation and submissions
• Analyze quality and process data to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Plan, manage, and participate in internal quality audits
• Support and lead continuous improvement activities across the organization
• Serve as the ISO and Document Control Administrator
• Approve dispositions of non‑conforming material, engineering changes, and quality‑related purchasing requests
• Provide hands‑on support by performing QA Technician duties when needed
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and strong leadership skills:

• 8-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of metrology, data analysis, root cause analysis, and ISO/QS/TS systems
• Proven leadership and people management experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with employees, leadership, customers, and suppliers
• Ability to perform intermediate math and basic statistical analysis
• Proficiency using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and scales
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (English and Metric)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point

• Ability to move safely in open and confined manufacturing spaces
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods as needed
