Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – 100% Outpatient Pediatrics
Practice Locations:
Rome, GA – Cartersville, GA – Trion, GA – Cedartown, GA
Role:
Full-time Pediatric NP/PA, 100% outpatient pediatrics
Practice:
Physician-led pediatric group with 4 clinic sites and 10 providers (4 MDs, 6 APPs)
Compensation & Benefits – Total package $160-$170k
Base salary: $90,000–$110,000 based on experience
Annual raise: $2,000
Monthly quality bonus:
Typically $800–$1,200/month (about $12,000/year) based on straightforward quality measures and follow-up metrics
401(k) match: $4,500/year after 12 months of employment
Loan repayment: $25,000 from HRSC (loan repayment program)
Schedule & Call
Clinic:
Monday–Friday; 1 Saturday/month (9 AM–1 PM)
Call: 1:8 rotation, phone-only, no hospital responsibilities
Clinical Workload
Daily volume: ~20–25 patients/day
Setting: 100% outpatient – no hospital rounds, no ER work
Practice Operations & Support
Locations & flexibility:
Each provider is assigned two primary clinics on a stable schedule
All providers must be willing to cover any of the 4 sites as needed for vacations/leave
Candidates are strongly encouraged to live in/near Rome, GA, the central hub, with all clinics within an approximate 25–30 minute drive
Nursing support:
Nursing staff performs the majority of triage and intake (vitals, concerns, vaccine verification, EMR history/chief complaint entry), allowing providers to focus on assessment and management
EMR:
MACPRACTICE (Apple?based EMR) configured for pediatrics and efficient documentation; most charts can be completed quickly, supporting same-day chart closure.
