Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for individuals with 5-10 years mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment. Candidates must be familiar with basic hand tools and precision equipment. Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is required. Some electrical experience is preferred and Industrial Waste Water Treatment system experience a plus. We are seeking a well rounded individual, able to work with minimal supervision, to join our team in a fast paced work environment.

• Maintain good working order of all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and carpentry in the department.
• Ensure preventative maintenance schedule is followed and completed.
• Metal fabrication, welding and cutting with a torch when necessary.
• Minor electrical work.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Works with minimal level of supervision. Issues and concerns need to be communicated to the Maintenance Department Manager.

Accountable to the Maintenance Department Manager for the quality and timeliness of the tasks performed.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5-10 years mechanical experience in an industrial environment.

Maximum lifting: 50 pounds. Lowest point: 0 feet, Highest point: 5 feet. Frequency: 4 – 6 hours total per 12 hour shift. Object lifted:
Tools and equipment.
Maximum carrying: 20 pounds. Maximum distance carried: 100 ft. Object carried:
Tools and equipment/Metal Parts.
Maximum force pushed/pulled: 20 pounds. Maximum distance moved: 5 – 10 ft. Object pushed/pulled:
Tools and equipment/Metal Parts.
Reaching up required up to 12 hours per day with 5 lb. weight.
Occasional climbing of ladders or platforms and working at heights up to 35 feet.
Work performed primarily in a standing position. Frequent stooping, bending and kneeling required.
Maximum continuous walking/standing: 3 hours.

Position requires operation of equipment including boom lift, squeeze lift and forklift.
