Quality Control Engineer - Industrial

Requirements

• 18 years of Age
• Able to Pass a Drug Test
• Legally Eligible to Work in the US
• Additional Requirements for Craft workers:
  • Must have own transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license not required)
  • Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools)
  • May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)

• Receipt inspections of materials received at project job sites.
• Perform and/or evaluate test for qualification of welders and/or welding procedures to ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1
• Perform Inspections and document in accordance with:
  Code of Construction, Government Standards and contract requirements
• QA/QC error prevention and physical inspection of construction activities i.e. Civil, Concrete, Epoxy Anchors, Structural Steel, Bolting (RCSC), Grouting, Mechanical, Pressure Testing, Coatings…etc.
• Coordination of NDE Inspection contractors.
• Conduct Pressure Test and document results in accordance with Code and contract requirements.
• Verification of compliance to drawings, code, & project specification requirements.
• Responsible for creating and collecting verification documents for final work packages.

• Minimum 5 years or equivalent in performing inspections.
• Experience with the following codes of construction and/or standards: ASTM, ACI, AISC, AWS, RCSC, API and ASNT.
