About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Installation Technician to join our team based out of our Rome, GA facility. In this role, you'll lead installation projects at customer sites across the country while working alongside installation technicians to install, troubleshoot, and commission industrial air filtration systems. As the on-site team lead, you'll help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Clean Air Industries' quality standards while providing exceptional customer service.

This position requires frequent travel (50%+), making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, solving problems in the field, and working in a variety of customer environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead installation projects by coordinating daily activities, assigning work, and ensuring projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Install, assemble, troubleshoot, and commission Clean Air Industries equipment at customer sites while maintaining company quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers by communicating project updates, addressing questions, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Mentor and support Installation Technicians by providing guidance, sharing technical knowledge, and promoting safe work practices.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.
  • Inspect, operate, and maintain company tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient job performance.
  • Complete required product and technical training while continuously developing expertise in Clean Air Industries equipment and installation processes.
  • Use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and other company systems to communicate, document work, and support project execution.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial installation, field service, HVAC installation, construction, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or a similar hands‑on technical field.
  • Previous experience leading projects, mentoring team members, or serving in a crew lead, foreman, or supervisory capacity preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience safely using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with the ability to adapt to changing job‑site conditions.
  • Commitment to working safely and promoting a strong safety culture on every job site.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work, including climbing ladders, working at heights, and standing, bending, or kneeling for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekend travel as project schedules require.
