Maintenance Shop Technician; GA, Rome

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is a premier provider of away-from-home convenience services, committed to delivering innovative breaktime solutions that enhance customer experiences. We're looking for a Maintenance Shop Tech to keep our vending and food service equipment running at its best. You'll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ice makers, refrigeration, carbonation, evaporation, dispensing, electrical, and coin handling systems — inspecting and listening to equipment to pinpoint the cause of malfunctions, dismantling units to reach problem areas, realigning and repairing components, and testing operation once the work is complete.

You'll troubleshoot (or learn to troubleshoot) basic networking and computer issues, coin handling problems, and refrigeration faults, and you'll assist Service Technicians and Maintenance Supervisors with installations at customer locations. Along the way, you'll build strong rapport with on-site employees and represent the company through clear communication and dependable service.

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on ice makers, refrigeration, carbonation, evaporation, dispensing, electrical, and coin handling systems.
• Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate the cause of malfunctions.
• Dismantles machines and equipment to access problem areas, then realigns and repairs components as needed.
• Starts and tests machines and equipment following repair to confirm proper operation.
• Troubleshoots — or learns to troubleshoot — basic networking and computer issues, coin handling problems, and refrigeration faults.
• Assists Service Technicians and Install Techs during installations at customer locations and builds strong rapport with on-site employees to ensure customer satisfaction.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend,stoop, and reach throughout the route.

• Maintenance experience.
• Trade school or technical training.
• Experience with refrigeration systems, electrical systems.
