Essential responsibilities
- Transport goods from one place to another using tractor trailer
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers
- Keep accurate and thorough records
- Work with shipping and receiving team on alternate weeks
- Other duties as assigned
- Perform pre-trip, in-transit, and post-trip inspections of tractors and trailers to ensure safe operating conditions and DOT compliance.
- Inspect trailers for damage, cleanliness, and structural integrity before loading and unloading.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.
- Safely transport products to designated locations while adhering to company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Report equipment defects, maintenance needs, accidents, or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
- Keep tractors, trailers, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures.
- Must assist with general warehouse duties, including inventory movement, staging, and organization, as needed.
No Overnight Travel
Qualifications- Valid CDL Class A driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years’ experience driving tractor-trailer
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Must have an excellent driving record
- Ability to drive for long distances

Tolerance for sitting long periods of time. Possess finger dexterity to write. Maintain adequate vision. Ability to speak and hear, walk throughout facilities with occasional moderate lifting 50 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms required. Ability to travel between multiple facilities as required to perform core job duties. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Ability to climb up or down stairs, ramps, and the like, using feet and legs or hands and arms. Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow or slippery surfaces. Ability to bend body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. The physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
