** Account Sales Manager (Personal Care and Home Care)
** to join our Ashland Industries Italia S.R.L. business in
** Italy.
** This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Commercial function. This position will report to
** Regional Sales Manager**.
* This is not a people leader role.  This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports,
* This is not an entry or early career level position.  We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running, with strong, hands‑on experience and a proven background to demonstrate it—for example, someone who has previously led end‑to‑end projects, managed complex cross‑functional stakeholders, and delivered measurable results within a similar scope or industry.
* This is not a monofunctional role.  You will collaborate closely with cross functional team members working in partnerships with teams such as Marketing, Research, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Regulatory Affairs.
* A minimum of a Chemical Degree or related discipline
* 8+ years in sales experience in the Personal Care & Home Care industry supporting regional growth and market development initiative
* High discipline and ability to work independently, Strong time‑management and prioritization across multiple accounts.
* Ability to set and track goals without direct on-site supervision
* Fluent in Italian, English, both written and spoken
* Excellent communication skills
* Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times
* The ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the business, making complex decisions and creating the new and different
* 1-2 years managing Distributors
* Ability to build relationships without in‑person interaction
* Open for travelling up to 30-40 % time
