This role is global and contributing to the Electrification business, Smart Power division in the Agile Unit Distribution and Energy Management. Main stakeholders are Sales, Marketing, Operations, R&D, Supply Chain Management, and Engineering teams. You will be part of a fully autonomous and empowered Agile Team, focusing on Transfer Switching Product portfolio. You will report to the Product Management Switches & Fusegear Chapter Lead.
The work model for the role is Hybrid (partially onsite and partially remote).
This role is primarily based in Finland, China or France. We welcome applications from candidates in neighboring regions who demonstrate exceptional qualifications and alignment with our requirements.
Responsibilities Conducting market intelligence and portfolio gap analysis to identify emerging customer needs, competitive positioning, and new market opportunities; driving strategic decisions on product development and lifecycle management to ensure profitability and market relevance.
Defining product specifications, value propositions, pricing strategies, and business plans for current and new product offering; monitoring costs and providing actionable insights to operations functions to maximize competitiveness and customer ROI.
Managing the complete product lifecycle from introduction to phase-out, including setting performance metrics, planning enhancements or cost reductions, and overseeing stage gates for new development projects that address evolving customer requirements.
Driving market communication strategies, including launch planning and execution, while managing go-to-market channels with partners, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure optimal market coverage and clear articulation of customer value and total cost of ownership.

Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled in product management, customer needs analysis, and portfolio lifecycle management.
You have 5-7+ years of experience in product management, strategic planning, and market-driven portfolio development, ideally working as a Product Manager with low voltage electrification solutions or technology solutions.
You are highly focused on customer outcomes, business planning, pricing models and market analysis.
You are passionate about cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and product delivery, combined with strong strategic thinking, systems thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
You have a master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or management engineering, with demonstrated track record in strategic solution/portfolio management. Experience in low-voltage applications, particularly in high-power electrical distribution (circuit breakers, switchgears, automatic transfer switches, etc.).
You are familiar with Agile methodology and a mindset geared toward innovation will be advantageous.
You are at ease communicating in English; additional language skills (e.g., German, Italian, French) are a plus.
