Italy Tax Manager

Position: Italy Tax Manager (11270)
Experteer Overview In this role you will own the Italian tax agenda, ensuring full compliance with Italian tax regulations and integrating tax considerations into business decisions. You will act as a tax partner to operations and corporate functions, managing tax risks and supporting Group policies. The position combines compliance, risk management, and advisory work across direct and indirect taxes, within a multinational setting.

Retribuzione / Benefits Ensure compliance with Italian tax regulations for corporate income tax, VAT and other taxes, including filing of returns

Identify and mitigate tax risks; enhance processes, controls and liaise with Internal Audit and external auditors

Manage tax and accounting implications of corporate income tax and VAT grouping regimes, including documentation and related accounting procedures

Address current and deferred tax implications from IAS/IFRS adoption (e.g., IAS
19, IFRS2, IFRS
16)
Identify tax‑saving opportunities compliant with laws and Group policies

Analyze VAT issues (supply chain, triangular transactions, import/export) and support VAT accounting

Liaise with Italian tax authorities, manage inspections and audits, and prepare documentation

Monitor Italian tax legislation developments and deliver tax training across the business

ResponsabilitàBachelor in Law, Economics, or Finance Fluent English/Italian (written and spoken)
At least 10 years of experience in Italian tax compliance and VAT, preferably in a tax advisory firm Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP or ERP knowledge preferred
