Real estate and lodging finance - internship

The candidate will join, as Stagiaire/Intern, the Energy and Real Assets Department – Real Estate and Lodging Finance desk, a team of 11 people covering the Italian market within an international Real Estate Finance platform of 100 professionals. The candidate will support the team in the full range of activities across the whole range of asset classes financed by the Bank (office, logistic, healthcare, hotel, retail, residential, special assets), and particularly: active implication in the arranging, closing and post-closing monitoring activities of existing and new financing transactions;

preparation of credit applications and review of the transactions' due diligence documentation; reporting on real estate market trends; interactions with other departments of the Bank, locally and at head office level, external advisors, co-lenders and clients. The Intern will deal with an international, challenging and rapidly changing environment, which requires multi-tasking and relational skills, ability to plan and to respect strict deadlines.

The sustained business flow will expose the Intern to a wide variety of transactions and situations and will enable her/him to learn and grow in a motivating context. This experience will provide the Intern with a unique opportunity to improve her/his knowledge of the real estate market and transactions, and of their feasibility from the perspective of a leading Investment Bank.

Requirements: LANGUAGES Fluency in written and spoken English. French is a plus IT Proficiency in Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE Strong academic track record, preferably with a focus on subjects inherent Financial Markets/Intermediaries, Financial Products/Securities, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Accounting Analytical and quantitative skills Proficiency in writing and presentation skills Previous experience in a similar position will be a plus PERSONAL SKILLS Positive and hard-working attitude, with strong team spirit Willingness to learn Flexibility Motivation and tenacity Quality oriented Reliability and commitment
