Role:
Analyst – Financial Agency
The role is primarily operational and execution‑focused, supporting the management of live transactions and the onboarding of new mandates, with opportunities to gain exposure to restructuring and distressed scenarios over time. This position is well suited for a junior professional looking to build a solid foundation in loan agency, transaction mechanics and credit processes within a structured and fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Agency team in the day‑to‑day management of performing financing transactions
Assist with onboarding of new mandates, including collection and review of transaction documentation
Support with data remediation and data quality activities related to the credit portfolio
Maintain and update transaction data, records and reporting within the management system
Support drawdowns, repayments, interest calculations, payment processes and reconciliation activities
Monitor key contractual dates, conditions precedent and ongoing obligations
Assist in the preparation of client communications, notices and periodic reports
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (lenders, borrowers, legal advisors)
Support portfolio monitoring activities
Assist senior team members on restructuring or special situation mandates, including amendments and waivers, restructuring of existing facilities and coordination across multiple creditor groups
Contribute to process optimisation and data quality initiatives
Experience and Qualifications
University degree in Economics, Finance, Law or related fields
0–2 years of experience in financial services, banking, consulting, transaction services or similar environments
Strong interest in financial transactions and credit markets
Solid analytical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Proactive and reliable attitude, with a willingness to learn
Good communication skills
Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
Good Excel skills; familiarity with financial systems or reporting tools is a plus
Nice to Have
Internship or early experience in banking, loan operations, agency, restructuring or advisory
Basic understanding of loan documentation and financing structures
Exposure to credit funds or alternative lenders
