Financial Cost Controller

PEG is an international engineering and contracting Company having its footprint in selected and strategic geographies. With more than fifty years of proven experience in providing process design, engineering solutions and project management, today PEG carries out projects for Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Renewables,from conceptual front-end design and feasibility study, through to detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and startup, operating & maintenance.

About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical  Middle Cost Controller  to join our AFC team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting business performance through financial planning, project controlling, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Support the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

Analyze project costs, revenues, margins, and cash flow performance.

Support to prepare monthly management reports and variance analyses

Monitor project progress against budgets, schedules, and contractual milestones.

Support the preparation of business plans and periodic financial forecasts.

Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and corporate reporting standards.

Assist during month-end and year-end closing activities related to project accounting.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of controlling processes, reporting tools, and financial systems.

Support audits and provide financial documentation when required.

Qualifications and Experience

Fluent English (written and spoken);

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

5 years of experience in Controlling, Project Controlling, or Management Control, preferably within EPC, Oil & Gas, Energy, Construction, or Industrial Engineering environments.

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems (Zucchetti is highly desirable)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international environments.
