Senior Structured Originator Data Center, Green Power and BESS

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead the green power and BESS flexibility business for ENGIE in Italy, shaping upstream and downstream PPA deals and tolling opportunities. You will coordinate with trading, risk, and legal teams to build a robust commercial pipeline and close strategically important agreements. The position sits in a front‑office trading floor environment, supporting decarbonization through innovative energy solutions.

You will directly influence ENGIE’s growth in green power and storage across Italy.

Retribuzione / Benefits Develop green power PPAs from onboarding to signature, coordinating with internal governance

Structuring and drafting downstream PPA offers with the downstream sales team

Grow BESS tolling and flex optimization opportunities with third‑party developers

Origin and implement risk management solutions for renewable and BESS portfolio growth

Understand pricing methodologies and contribute to model development with the pricing team Monitor Italian market regulations and structural changes impacting green power and flexibility

Provide technical market knowledge and coordinate with multiple stakeholders for contract execution

Operate in a front‑office, cross‑functional environment with traders, quants and legal teams

ResponsabilitàMore than 10 years in the energy market with origination experience

Track record in Italian green power and structured green PPA deals

Solid knowledge of Italian power system, markets, and regulatory context

Knowledge of pricing models, risk metrics, energy products and contracts (PPA, Tolling)
Commercial and negotiation skills with strong analytical capability

Ability to manage multiple workflows with a hands‑on, results‑oriented approach

Team player with ability to interact with portfolio managers, legal, risk, and sales teams

Fluent in English and Italian
