Position Overview
• Full-time Nocturnist opportunity
• Open to Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians
• 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM schedule
• Manageable nightly census of 16-18 patients per provider
• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care
• Conduct history & physical exams and document in Paragon EMR
• Make daily rounds on assigned patients
• Coordinate necessary follow-up care upon discharge
• Collaborate with Attending Physicians and Intensivists to manage acute changes in patient condition
• Open ICU setting with 24/7 Intensivist coverage
• Opportunity to perform procedures
• Established medical center with strong subspecialty supportQualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible for or active New York medical license
• Prior Hospitalist experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-pd hospital environment
Compensation & Benefits
• Guaranteed base salary: $325,000 annually•$15,000 starting bonus
